Heading to Texas!

Warren and me (Ashley) are off to Texas next month to visit his Great Grandmother. I talked to her on the phone and she was beyond excited. I think she was so excited to see the baby that it made up for her grandson not being able to go. We fly first class with the hopes that the larger seating area will keep him contained for the duration of the 2hr flight.

For fun: Warren likes to climb all over his jumper. This was him getting himself unstuck from an awkward position.

Warren is One!

We had a blast at his birthday party with a special thanks to his cousins Mike and Judith for letting us use their house. It was a pool party which was perfect because it was hot that day. Fun fact: Warren does NOT like chocolate cake. He wouldn't touch the smash cake. Pictures of his party to follow.

As for updates, Warren is walking right now and has pretty much given up crawling. He knows how to say mama (mamama) and his pediatrician said he should be picking up a new word every two weeks. He is 24lbs 10oz which puts him in the 90th percentile for his weight and (I don't remember his height) but he is in the 65th percentile for that. This was also the fun appointment because he got a total of 6 shots and he did very well, all things considered.

Still with the poop face.

Playing with the truck his Uncle Joe and Aunt Nancy got him.

At the doctor's office.

We got to an indoor play place and this is his favorite toy.

He has graduated from the sink to the big boy tub.

Cowboy boots at Target. They were in the girls' section and the stitching may be pink but I don't care because they were too cute.

Trying out carseats at Target.

At the beach.

Time Lapse

Every month since Warren was born we have taken a picture of him in a white onesie and placed him in the same laundry basket for size reference. These are those pictures.

Working Boy

Wheezy booked his first job today! It is for a print ad and the shoot is on Monday. We are definitely excited for this opportunity.

As for swim lessons, he has been the break out star in his class as of late. He has been rolling over and floating on his back unassisted and his instructor is truly amazed with his progress, especially since he is the youngest in his class.

He has two bottom teeth, one on top made its appearance yesterday and the other top is not far behind. He definitely has been putting his teeth to good use by biting off pieces of wafer and cracker.

Now for some pictures:

One of my mom's friends bought him a 4 in 1 tricycle contraption. He did well riding on it.

Spitting food while he eats.

Trying to open the door.

The first time we used the baby gates. He truly did not understand how he was not allowed to go past a certain point.

Sitting on his Aunt Nancy's lap.

Fun in the (kiddie) pool.

Big Boy

Sorry it's been awhile. Google+ wasn't synching on my phone so all the pictures I had were outdated.

We spent the past weekend at the Strawberry festival where I realized just how much the boy can eat. He had a great time eating strawberries to his heart's content. Swimming lessons are going well, he passed his safety week test with flying colors. His instructor did mention that he is getting bored with back floating so we have to focus on that during down time in the pool. He crawls like a champ and pulls himself up on objects/stands really well. Lately, he has been getting bolder and trying to stand with no hands. As of Monday he is no longer dentally challenged and he now has a tooth. Just one. Now for some photos.

The bottom right is where the first tooth is coming in.

Listening to live music at the Strawberry festival with his Nana.

Him after enjoying the strawberry sample he was given.

I caught him mid wake-up.

I used to take two of the legs off of the table because it would tip when he tried to pull himself up. He loves that table.

On his way to Mike and Judith's house to go swimming.

Warren and his cousin on Easter.
