We found a Place!

We found out on Monday that we got the place we applied for! We signed the lease the next day. The place is in Lawndale, less than 10 minutes to the beach. It has a small front yard/back yard and a garage for storage which excites me because I am tired of seeing these strollers in the house. Of course Warren is doing well, see photos below.

This one makes me laugh.

He rolled away. Again. And got stuck up against the wall. Again.

Him and his sunglasses.

I love chunky baby thighs.

We put his pants on his head because we can.

I don't remember if this one made the previous post but I like the way the sun hit his face.

Moving on Up

Hello Everyone,

As you all know, Ray got a job so we are moving back to LA. Yay! I spend most of my time online looking for places to live and my mom is out there hustling in the streets looking for places as well. Warren has learned to roll from back to stomach and stomach to back; only one direction but it is his current mode of transportation.

I left him in the middle of the living room floor and came back to him under the couch chewing on my important paperwork.

Ray and Warren at the mall.

Sleep at my Grandma's house.

I was trying to replicate one of the sensory activities done at Out of the Box. I needed more pasta.

I left him in the middle of the living room floor and came back to find him well on his way to the hallway.

Warren at the doctor's office. He had two shots that day and only cried for one. Such a big boy.

Just a good one of him smiling.

Before We Leave

Today I have my mom's group meetup. We meet every Wednesday at Panera, it's not only nice to get out of the house, but to eat a proper meal AND talk to other adults.

This is him sleeping at the moment

We are trying to wean him off of the swaddle. At the moment, I have no patience for the one arm out, the two arms out, etc so I bought him the magic sleep suit. It works well enough.

Him and his piano

We were at Target yesterday and he was tired of sitting in the stroller so I let him stand for a bit

Solid Foods

So Warren has been introduced to solid foods. Per the pediatrician's instructions, we introduce something new every 2-3 days. So far he has had prunes, green beans, sweet potatoes, bananas, and squash. We still have the container of peas we have yet to introduce. He liked them all well enough but I think he especially likes having these things mixed into his oatmeal.

We found out that he has eczema so no more Johnson & Johnson products for him; we now have to use Cetaphil. I also took him to the doctor today and found out he has bronchiolitis. I had to get him the nebulizer but the good news is after they did one of the treatments in the office he was doing so much better. He is in good spirits, not really "acting sick" so that's a plus. Here are some pictures.... I promise to get better about updating this thing, I finally got this blog and my phone to sync up so I can put pictures on here easily.

Him when we were on our way to the moms' group meet up.

For fun, I tried to smash Warren into his coming home outfit. As you can tell, it's a little tight.

Car Seat Troubles.

Warren has never been comforted by the car ride, in fact he hates car rides with a passion. I was staring at him the other day when I had an epiphany: he hates his car seat. With a passion. I personally think it's the recline that he dislikes so because he enjoys sitting up. I went and bought him a convertible car seat, and for once he did not instantly scream when we sat him in it. Now he needs another stroller because you cannot take the convertible car seat out of the car and I am not comfortable with him facing outwards, which is what his current stroller does.

Here is a picture of him not screaming in his car seat.

Him wearing one of the outfits my mom bought him. The socks are my favorite part. They look like hi-tops.

Warren and his dad during tummy time.

A couple good ones of him smiling.

I was going through his closet to gather clothes for Lexi when I came across his outfit for if he had been a girl. I could not help myself :/ I probably would have put the dress on him but he is too big. Ray and my mom thinks he looks like a boy in drag and I have to agree. For the most part, I think he looks like a baby and could pass for a girl but not in this picture. He looks like a boy with a headband on his head.

Na na na na na na na na....

BATMAN! As in, Warren was Batman for halloween. We spent the evening at my BFF's parents house. Let's see what other photos are in my phone...

This is just a clear one of his face where he is not fidgeting around which is why I like it.

He loves to "stand up." If you look, the pants he is wearing probably need to be retired because they are giving him a muffin top. He has that issue with a few pairs of pants actually. On a side note, I have no idea why some of the pictures are showing in groups of threes.

Alas, car rides are not comforting to him yet. He screams bloody murder every time. I took him on a 15 minute ride yesterday and he screamed the. entire. time. Coming and going. He must have screamed himself exhausted because when we got home he slept for almost 5 hours. The picture below, we went for a 5 minute car ride and he looks like he is actually enjoying the experience.

Sometimes, he falls asleep during the middle of a feeding while being burped.

And my current favorite, it was dark and the flash from my phone caught him off guard.
